To discover
In the Leading SAFe® training you will discover the strengths and pitfalls of SAFe®. All elements of this Scaled Lean-Agile organizational approach are playfully woven into the training. Together you will look for the mission of SAFe®, the organizational competencies required for adopting SAFe®, and how SAFe® works. We go through the organization from the portfolio level to the individual team level.
To experience
You will experience what it is like to plan a longer period in advance with multiple teams while self-organizing. You also do experiential exercises that allow you to look at the management of large initiatives in a different way. This way, your backpack is optimally filled to get started to make more of a difference in your organization.
Exam preparation
You get access to our online SAFe Agilist® ExamTrainer. Here you practice mock exam questions and prepare yourself optimally for the exam. This allows us to spend more time in the classroom on experiential exercises and your specific questions.
Trainer
The trainer is an experienced SAFe® Program Consultant who treats the SAFe® framework pragmatically. We alternate the explanation of the subject matter with practical assignments and the treatment of topics introduced by participants.
These challenges form the training backlog that we will prioritize with the participants.
- Applying the Lean-Agile values and their consequences for the way you collaborate;
- Applying the foundation of SAFe®, formed by practices from Scrum, DevOps, Lean UX, Lean Startup, and Lean-Agile Portfolio Management;
- Applying Scrum and Lean-Agile to shape self-organization within an Agile Release Train (team of Agile teams);
- Effectively translating high-level business requirements at portfolio level into features to be picked up by an Agile Release Train;
- Prioritizing and understanding progress at a team, program, and portfolio level.
After following this training you will be able to:
- Make management choices that are in line with a scaled application of a Lean-Agile and Scrum way of working;

- Have multiple teams work together in a multidisciplinary and self-organizing manner to arrive at customer-oriented solutions;

SAFe Agilist® certificate holders speak the same language and understand the SAFe® terminology and approach.
